FabricAir®’s permeable* fabrics were specially developed for optimised application in air dispersion systems. See how this is done in points 1-5 below.
”The drier the fabric environment, the lower the risk of bacterial growth.” FabricAir®’s fabrics are woven solely from top-grade polyester. Even under extreme conditions, these basic materials absorb no more than 0.5% moisture, which retards bacterial growth.
”The dimensions of a fabric dispersion system should not change!” FabricAir®’s fabrics are woven from pretreated fibres that are also heat-treated during the dyeing process. This stabilises the fibres to such an extent that we guarantee a shrinkage of less than 0.5%. This prevents the dimensions of FabricAir®’s systems from changing.
”Stable tolerance at design pressure is ensured by means of stable permeability!” The permeability tolerances of FabricAir®’s fabrics are only ± 5%. The thicker large-surface weaves on the market have tolerances of over 20%. If driven to extremes this results in lower air volume than expected.
”Higher weight means higher maintenance costs!” We focus our development efforts on the variable operating costs of the fabric dispersion systems. To keep them under control, we have minimised the weight of our materials because we know that maintenance costs are proportionate to the weight of the material. These efforts have succeeded at the same time as we have maintain the durability and stability of our fabric. Compared to competitive fabrics, FabricAir®’s weave often weighs up to 35% less. This results in corresponding operational savings.
The dyeing process and finishing treatment are so efficient that FabricAir® can deliver all standard colours without charging a higher price. With us, you do not pay more for dyes that should be standard.
* Note: permeable means penetrable.
