VIP-level HVAC solution for VIP guests at the World Cup venue

The upcoming Biathlon World Championship 2023 in Oberhof, Germany, will feature state-of-the-art fabric ducts in the temporary VIP tents. The event, which is set to take place in the Arena Am Rennsteig, will require a two-story tent to accommodate VIP guests and media representatives. To ensure a high-quality HVAC solution, the organizers have turned to FabricAir.

“The installation of fabric ducts in the VIP tent of such an event is a great opportunity for us to showcase the efficiency and comfort they bring. These types of tents are becoming popular throughout the world and in the most prestigious events, so we are excited to be a part it” says Katharina Rohkämper, Sales Manager at FabricAir Germany.

The fabric ducts installed in the VIP tent were made of Combi 30 fabric and were equipped with SonicFlow flow models. This system was designed to ensure that the airflow is distributed evenly throughout the tent, providing a comfortable environment, and ensuring a maximum IAQ for guests. In addition, it contributes to the structural integrity of the tent as the hot air will blow to the ceiling, melting the snow and preventing its heavy load.

The Biathlon World Championship is set to be a major event, and the VIP tent will be an integral part of the experience for VIP guests and media representatives. Thanks to the expertise of FabricAir, they will experience a comfortable and sustainable environment.

The use of fabric ducts in temporary structures, such as VIP tents, is becoming increasingly popular at major events. This is because fabric ducts are lightweight, easy to install, and can be customized to fit the specific needs of the event. In addition, fabric ducts are more energy-efficient than traditional metal ducts, which can help to reduce the environmental impact of the event.
