FabricAir designs air distribution system for glass processing company
FabricAir has secured one of the leading providers in the glass processing industry as a client. The Cologne, Germany based company specializes in the production of custom glass cuts, glass doors, shower enclosures, roofs, and railings. With its unique expertise in refining glass surfaces, they also offer Signapur coatings as well as water and dirt-repellent surface finishes for high-quality glass protection.
High waste heat
For their new air distribution system, the company turned to FabricAir for an effective, efficient cooling solution that would provide a comfortable working environment for employees even on hot days. The challenge was to efficiently manage the high waste heat in the production facility while taking into account the limited space between the crane runway and the pipelines on the ceiling.
A tailor-made solution
FabricAir‘s team of experts developed a tailor-made solution using a special end cap tensioning system to make optimal use of the space. In total, eight textile air ducts with a diameter of 710 mm and lengths between 21,000 mm and 25,000 mm were designed, manufactured, and installed by FabricAir – just seven days after the order was placed. Thanks to this fast and efficient process, the glass processor was able to benefit from the advantages of textile air distribution in a short time.

Employees in the production hall now enjoy draft-free air distribution in the production hall.
