Ceiling Diffusers

FabricAir® Ceiling Diffusers are fully insulated, they prevent energy loss, eliminate any risk of condensation and are therefore suitable for isothermal or cooling conditions, and can be deployed for supply and extract air.

FAQ

A fabric duct system can be designed for low-noise operation through appropriate system pressure, air velocity, and flow model selection. This makes fabric-based air distribution suitable for open offices and call centers where excessive background noise can interfere with communication and concentration.

FabricAir’s VarioDuct uses an internal membrane to separate two airflow patterns within the same duct. A damper changes the position of the membrane, allowing the system to use a different flow model for heating and cooling conditions.

FabricAir Ceiling Diffusers are drop-in units designed for T-profile suspended ceilings. Air is supplied through a flat fabric flow panel, while the plenum box is positioned above the visible ceiling. Extract versions are also available.

The plenum box is insulated, which helps limit unwanted heat transfer and reduces condensation risk around the unit. The lightweight fabric construction also places less load on the building structure and uses less material than many conventional diffuser assemblies.
