The FabricAir® VarioDuct™ provides different flow models for cooling and/or heating purposes. It is tailored with an internal membrane that separates the two airflows.
FabricAir® Ceiling Diffusers are fully insulated, they prevent energy loss, eliminate any risk of condensation and are therefore suitable for isothermal or cooling conditions, and can be deployed for supply and extract air.

TX Fitclub needed an HVAC solution that combined fast project execution, cost efficiency, reliable air distribution, and a visual appearance suited to its exposed ceiling. FabricAir’s fabric ducting was selected to meet both the technical and aesthetic requirements of the gym.

The TX Fitclub project used Combi 60 fabric, SonicFlow, Type 1 suspension, and All-in-One support. The system was designed for an external static pressure of approximately 100–120 Pa, while the outlet arrangement was engineered to provide even, draft-free air distribution across the workout zones.

Yes. At TX Fitclub, dark gray fabric ducts were selected to coordinate with the open ceiling. FabricAir offers a range of standard colors, as well as printing options that allow the fabric ducting to become part of the interior design.

The lightweight fabric duct system simplified handling and helped the project stay on schedule. It also supported faster commissioning compared with the heavier fabrication and handling requirements associated with conventional sheet-metal ductwork.

The project reported even airflow throughout the facility, improved air comfort, better temperature consistency, reduced noise levels, improved energy efficiency, and higher user satisfaction. According to the design-build contractor, the customer was “100% satisfied” with the system. These results are specific to the TX Fitclub project.

Fabric duct sections can be removed and washed when required. Selected fabrics are also available with antimicrobial properties that inhibit microbial growth on the fabric surface, but these should be considered as part of a wider cleaning and ventilation strategy.
