Perfect air distribution solutions for happy plants

In the grow industry, it is paramount to ensure proper air distribution. With our fabric-based solutions and custom engineered products, we prevent microclimates, facilitate uniform temperature and humidity within the grow space, and allow the plants to flourish through every stage of their growth cycle

We have the experience and the know how to guide you through your project

Even air distribution

Air distributed at the needed velocity with customized linear dispersion

No microclimates

Ensuring even temperatures and uniform humidity throughout the canopy

Hygiene

Ensuring the highest hygiene with no molds, mildew, or pests. Fabric Ducts are easy to launder and sanitize to ensure safe and hygienic air delivery

No condensation

Fabric ducts don‘t sweat, eliminate corrosion

Real Leaf Solutions, USA

“Cleaning metal duct is difficult when they are in place and taking them down would require the added costs of a contractor with the correct equipment. Laundering the fabric duct is easy and creates a more sterile environment.”

Tom Beller, Real Leaf Solutions’ Co-owner and Chief Operations Officer

The FabricAir® VarioDuct™ provides different flow models for cooling and/or heating purposes. It is tailored with an internal membrane that separates the two airflows.

FAQ

Vapor pressure deficit, or VPD, describes the difference between the vapor pressure inside a plant leaf and in the surrounding air. It influences transpiration and therefore affects how plants move water and nutrients. Temperature and relative humidity at canopy level are important factors in maintaining the desired VPD.

Related terms: VPD, vapor pressure deficit, transpiration, grow room humidity, canopy, air distribution

When VPD is too low, transpiration can slow because the surrounding air is already close to saturation. When VPD is too high, plants may close their stomata to conserve water, which can also reduce CO₂ intake. Maintaining even temperatures and uniform humidity across the canopy helps reduce these variations.

FabricAir uses customized air distribution to deliver air at the velocity required by the grow space. Flow models and outlet configurations can be selected according to the canopy, room geometry, and environmental requirements, helping reduce local microclimates.

Fabric ducts can be removed, laundered, and sanitized according to the selected fabric and the facility’s hygiene requirements. Surface-flow solutions can also help limit dust accumulation. Condensation, mold, and mildew should still be controlled through the complete temperature, humidity, and ventilation strategy.
