Perfect air distribution for electronic related rooms

Huge facilities with electronics or electrical control rooms generate a lot of heat and carbon dioxide, therefore perfect air distribution must be top-notch. Fabric-based air distribution solutions can help prevent sensitive electronics from overheating and effectives remove carbon dioxide.

We have the experience and the know how to guide you through your project

Even air distribution

Distributes air evenly throughout vast open and even low-ceiling spaces

Easy installation

As simple as it gets; no heavy machinery is needed

Long lifespan

Proven durability for decades to come

Corrosion-resistant

Fabric does not rust, thus eliminating the risk of corrosion

Eldor Corporation, Turkey

“Considering that there is no more disruption to production and the cost of new PLC cards, the investment in the FabricAir dispersion system has paid for itself in very short time.”

The FabricAir® VarioDuct™ provides different flow models for cooling and/or heating purposes. It is tailored with an internal membrane that separates the two airflows.

FAQ

Yes. Selected FabricAir fabrics are available with an optional antistatic property designed to help dissipate electrical charge. This can be relevant in electronics manufacturing, data centers and control rooms where electrostatic discharge may affect sensitive equipment.

Conductive elements can be incorporated into the fabric, while electrical connections between duct sections help maintain continuity along the system. Correct grounding and the wider ESD-control strategy still need to be designed for the individual facility.

Related terms: conductive yarn, electrical continuity, grounding, antistatic fabric, ESD control, antistatic fabric, fabric documentation

Electrical and electronic equipment can generate concentrated heat loads that need to be removed reliably. Poor air distribution can leave local hot spots that affect equipment performance and reliability, so the system should be engineered around the actual equipment layout and heat load.

Permeable fabric allows a controlled amount of supply air through the duct surface, helping keep the textile dry and reducing the risk of condensation forming on the duct itself. The complete HVAC system still needs to maintain suitable temperature, humidity and dew-point conditions.
