Keskinoglu Poultry Processing Plant, Turkey

“When we first contacted FabricAir and communicated our needs, they were most helpful and offered the best solutions for our production plant.

We started using FabricAir dispersion systems in our plants five years ago. Ever since, we have managed to reach the desired cooling quality and witnessed a significant decrease in health problems and resulting paid leave.”

FAQ

Persistent moisture can create conditions that support microbial growth and make hygiene control more difficult. Permeable fabric allows a controlled amount of air through the duct surface, helping keep the textile dry and reduce condensation risk on the duct itself. The complete HVAC system still needs appropriate temperature and humidity control.

Fabric duct sections can be fully removed and laundered according to the site’s hygiene procedures. This allows duct cleaning to be incorporated into the facility’s existing sanitation program. Cleaning frequency should be based on the specific production environment and hygiene requirements.

The air distribution system should support the facility’s food-safety program, including requirements for cleanability, temperature control, humidity and contamination prevention. HACCP principles and other applicable requirements should be considered for the individual process rather than assuming that a particular fabric alone guarantees compliance.
