Ödül Solar, Türkiye
Today, solar panel production, particularly during sensitive processes such as cell installation, maintaining strict control over environmental conditions is essential. Managing airborne dust particles within the production area is a key factor that directly influences product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
During solar panel cell installation, airborne dust particles can have adverse effects on the production process, making the selection of the right ventilation system critical. Irregular airflow can cause dust particles to become airborne and spread throughout the facility.
To minimize these risks, Ödül Solar sought a solution that ensures uniform air distribution and helps reduce the movement of dust particles.

Background
At its new facility, Ödül Solar needed an effective air distribution system to maintain the precise environmental conditions required for its production processes. A system that could prevent dust particles from remaining suspended in the air while ensuring uniform airflow was crucial, particularly during cell installation. Considering these needs, Ödül Solar chose FabricAir fabric air ducts, which can distribute high volumes of air at exceptionally low speeds.
Solution
FabricAir engineers designed a custom air distribution system tailored to Ödül Solar’s production processes, minimizing the movement of airborne dust within the facility. This system not only addressed Ödül Solar’s challenges but also significantly improved energy efficiency by operating at low pressure. The system, made from Combi 30 fabric and utilizing both MicroFlow and SonicFlow air dispersion models, distributes 38,000 m³/h of air at controlled low speeds, preventing unwanted air movement during production. The low-velocity, wide-surface airflow of FabricAir fabric air ducts helps prevent dust from becoming airborne, ensuring a clean and balanced working environment.
Results
The fabric air ducts designed for Ödül Solar’s new facility effectively helped control dust in the production area. The FabricAir fabric air ducts, specially designed for Ödül Solar, distribute high volumes of air at low speeds, minimizing the suspension and movement of dust particles in the air. As a result, high-quality standards were maintained during the cell installation process, contributing to increased production efficiency.
Additionally, the system’s low-pressure operation and precise airflow distribution significantly reduced energy consumption, providing substantial energy savings for the facility.
This FabricAir solution not only helped improve dust control but also enhanced overall facility efficiency, serving as an exemplary application for manufacturing environments with sensitive processes such as solar panel production.
