Ideal for D-Shaped ducts straight sectionsType 11A is a variation of our Type 11 T-Rail suspension, ideal for low ceilings. The T-Rail, so named because it looks like a T in the cross section, is made of anodized aluminum, making it an excellent choice for corrosive environments. Two T-Rails are fixed to a hard ceiling and the duct is then suspended from the rails. It is perfect for straight sections of D-shaped ducts and differs from Type 11 with the RapidSlider, which is pulled into place creating a seamless, uniform suspension with a clean look.
Type 11A suspension packages utilize the FabricAir RapidSlider for hanging the duct. The RapidSlider allows for easy installation into the rails and a seamless look for any diameter. The specially designed feeder makes it easy to slide any length of duct continuously through the suspension rail with little or no additional labor or equipment. The end result is a seamless look between the duct and the rail and fewer wrinkles in the installed duct.
