Kindergarten gets healthier air with fabric duct

FabricAir recently installed a custom fabric-based air distribution system for a kindergarten facility in Neveronys, Lithuania. The renovation of the kindergarten focused on ensuring a comfortable and healthy environment for the children.

Facility managers were searching for a solution that would achieve these goals efficiently, and they found it in the form of a custom fabric duct system from FabricAir. The system, consisting of 105 meters of D-shaped fabric ducts, is installed in all seven rooms of the kindergarten. “We are thrilled to have been a part of this important project,” said Paulius Šarapnickis, Sales Engineer at FabricAir.

“Our fabric ducts not only provide the comfort and health benefits the facility required, but also aesthetic design elements that bring the rooms to life. With the use of antimicrobial fabric and the MicroFlow flow model, we are confident that the air distribution system will provide a safe and healthy environment for the children.”

The duct design incorporated a special “forest fairytale” print, which was chosen to integrate with the interior design of the kindergarten. The use of Combi 90 fabric, an antimicrobial material, ensures that no harmful microorganisms, such as bacteria or mold, can grow inside the HVAC system. MicroFlow helps prevent drafts, making for a more comfortable environment for the children.

Through this innovative solution, FabricAir has once again proven its commitment to providing sustainable and effective air distribution systems. Not only does this system offer a safe and healthy environment for the children in the kindergarten, but it demonstrates how technology can be integrated into design to create functional, yet visually appealing spaces. FabricAir continues to push the boundaries and raise the bar in the industry making a positive impact on the environment for everyone.
