FabricAir installs new Ceiling Diffuser to German semiconductor giant
Just recently, FabricAir, a global leading fabric-based air distribution solution manufacturer, introduced a brand-new new product to its portfolio – FabricAir Ceiling Diffuser. With its flexible design and simple installation capabilities, the new Ceiling Diffusers became attractive to the companies. It is particularly ideal for rooms with suspended ceilings, as the lightweight and flat product has a height of just 300 millimeters. Now, FabricAir was chosen to deliver nearly 100 diffusers to semiconductor giant Infineon Technologies AG in Bavaria, Germany.
In the first phase of construction, suspended grid ceilings were planned for the developer labs, so a solution was sought that would fit into the system, save as much space as possible in the ceiling area, and leave flat ceiling panels. The challenge was to distribute the large volumes of air without drafts in the rooms and thus create a constant air distribution. Positive secondary aspects included the washable fabric flow panels of the diffusers, which also provide an attractive ceiling appearance in the premises.
The diffusers were planned and ordered by Infineon Technologies, one of the leading manufacturers of semiconductor solutions on a global scale. The numerous advantages convinced the planning team: Infineon Technologies opted for 625 x 625-millimeter as well as 1250 x 625-millimeter ceiling diffusers, which were delivered in January 2022. FabricAir Ceiling Diffusers are virtually indistinguishable from surrounding ceiling panels, as they are available in a wide range of colors and prints. With a white design and subtle pattern print, the panels custom fit the suspended ceiling in the developer’s labs.

Immediately after installation, a noticeable change can be felt in the premises – without any disturbing drafts or unpleasant noises. There is an optimally directed supply of fresh air, although the diffusers, as was the request of the client, are barely visible. Another advantage is that the diffusers are virtually maintenance-free and the antimicrobial fabric minimizes the risk of health problems so that the employees inside have the highest comfort in the workplace.
