FabricAir and Creative Solutions Contracting Company provided a revolutionary fabric ducting solution in under 60 days, stepping in to ensure a high indoor air quality.

The Challenge: An Uneven Playing Field

The Kingdom Arena Stadium boasts a capacity of over 30,000 spectators, creating a microclimate of its own. To tackle this challenge FabricAir designed a custom air dispersion system that seamlessly blends into the roof structure. Tailored from black Combi 85 fabric with cutting-edge airflow modeling (JetFlow, OriFlow and MicroFlow) the system delivers optimal air distribution, enhancing indoor air quality throughout the stadium.

Suspended securely and discreetly by FabricAir’s Type 2 double cable suspension system, the 2452 meters of fabric ducting (ranging from Ø2150mm to Ø1050mm) distribute a total of 2,000,000 m3/h of air. This innovative solution ensures both players and fans have a comfortable and healthy experience.

Unlike conventional metal ducts, FabricAir’s system is a lightweight solution that doesn’t require diffusers, grilles, or balancing. Fabric ducts act as air diffusers, distributing air at low velocities throughout the entire length of the duct. This even distribution of air eliminates stale air spots and ensures a consistent temperature throughout the stands and the field, creating a comfortable environment for everyone.
