When Western Heritage Cowboy Church, a nondenominational congregation in rural Texas, United States, set out to renovate its main sanctuary, the goal was clear: create a more comfortable environment where the congregation could focus on worship — not on uneven temperatures or distracting HVAC noise.
Completed in January 2026, the renovation introduced a FabricAir textile ducting solution that transformed both the comfort and appearance of the sanctuary, delivering even airflow while complementing the church’s architectural vision.
The challenge
The church’s priority was to solve uneven air distribution. Before the renovation, the sanctuary relied on two air grilles positioned on either side of the stage, with no ductwork extending into the worship space. As a result, conditioned air reached only the first 25 to 30 feet (7.5 to 9 meters) of the room, leaving much of the congregation outside the effective comfort zone.
The limited air distribution also created noticeable HVAC noise, making it difficult to achieve the quiet atmosphere expected during services.

To maintain a clean, consistent appearance, the ducting was designed with 360° hoops that keep it fully inflated during operation, providing a neat architectural finish.
Results
