Keskinoglu Poultry Processing Plant, Turkey

“When we first contacted FabricAir and communicated our needs, they were most helpful and offered the best solutions for our production plant.

We started using FabricAir dispersion systems in our plants five years ago. Ever since, we have managed to reach the desired cooling quality and witnessed a significant decrease in health problems and resulting paid leave.”

FAQ

Food processing facilities often contain several production zones with different requirements for temperature, humidity, hygiene, and airflow. A well-designed system should distribute air evenly while supporting product quality, employee comfort, condensation control, and the facility’s hygiene procedures.

Keskinoglu reported achieving the desired cooling conditions and, in its customer statement, noted a significant decrease in health-related problems and associated paid leave during five years of using FabricAir systems. This is a customer-reported project result rather than a general health claim for fabric ducting.

Selected fabrics can be specified with antimicrobial properties that inhibit microbial growth on the textile surface. Fabric ducts can also be removed and laundered, allowing cleaning to be incorporated into the facility’s hygiene program. Antimicrobial fabric should be considered an additional material property rather than a substitute for regular cleaning and filtration.

Moisture, frequent cleaning, and demanding production conditions can increase corrosion risks for exposed metal components. Textile ducts do not rust, which can reduce one source of maintenance and contamination concern in suitable food processing applications.
