Innovative Fabric Duct System Provides Attractive Airflow for Restaurant

Re-Nu Technologies, a leading air conditioning system provider in South India, in cooperation with FabricAir, has recently completed the installation of a state-of-the-art fabric duct system at a restaurant in Coimbatore. This new HVAC installation provide comfortable, noiseless airflow for the dining spaces.

FabricAir’s National Sales Manager in India, Pritam Limaye, played a pivotal role in the custom engineering and design of this project. The system features FabricAir’s SonicFlow airflow model, which utilizes strategically designed laser-cut holes along the length of the duct to direct air precisely where it is needed, ensuring an even and comfortable distribution of air throughout the restaurant.

The fabric ducting integrates seamlessly with the restaurant’s interior design and aesthetics. The air dispersion system not only enhances the dining environment by providing superior air quality but also contributes to a noise-free atmosphere, which is crucial for maintaining a pleasant dining experience.

The installation employs the Type 1 cable suspension system, made from PVC-coated stainless steel or galvanized cable. This system is installed similar to a shower curtain in its simplicity and efficiency. The All-in-One shape retention system, pre-installed at the factory, ensures that the duct always appears open whether the system is on or off. This feature provides a consistent, appealing look and minimizes strain on the duct during startup, thereby enhancing its durability and reliability.

The chosen fabric, Combi 20, is a polyester material that is permeable, flame-retardant, and Oeko-Tex 100 certified. The fabric is machine washable, comes with a five-year warranty, and was selected in black to complement the restaurant’s modern decor.

The innovative fabric duct system by FabricAir is ideally suited for both new installations and retrofit projects due to its ease of installation and long-lasting durability. HVAC contractors and engineers designing systems for public and commercial applications can take inspiration from this successful installation, which demonstrates the versatility and benefits of fabric ducting in enhancing indoor air quality and comfort while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
