Suspension Type 02

Type 02 cable suspension is optimal for larger diameter ducts hung on straight runs. The cable is a PVC coated stainless steel or galvanized cable making it an excellent choice for corrosive environments. The method involves stretching two horizontal cables, one at the 3 o’clock and one at the 9 o’clock positions. The horizontal cables are supported with intermediate vertical cable drops. The duct has clips to hang the duct on the cable, much like you would hang a shower curtain. The length of the duct straps that hold the cable clips can be manufactured to specification.
