FabricAir Hosts Inaugural Indoor Climate Forum in Lithuania
With a goal of uniting professionals from across the HVAC and ventilation industries, FabricAir created the Indoor Climate Forum, a collaborative event focused on the future of indoor climate control. The event, held at CityWave in Vilnius on 10 April, was organized by five leading companies in the HVAC industry for the purpose of education, networking, and discussion.
Engineers, architects, HVAC designers, and other industry professionals in attendance learned about changes in regulations and how to apply them to projects, new technologies and innovations, and ways to ensure energy efficient HVAC for the future. Presentations and panel discussions covered energy-efficient air distribution, ventilation design, and the role of data and modeling in HVAC system performance.
Paulius Šarapnickis, FabricAir Sales Manager for Lithuania, presented on the popular topic of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and how this technology helps ensure that air cooling, ventilation or heating systems function properly and are optimally calculated during the design process. These simulations analyze the space and the needs of the environment to create a custom preview of the air distribution before the system is finalized and manufactured providing confidence for the construction and engineering teams.
“Through these professional discussions and collaborative events we’re sharing knowledge that will perpetuate innovation and improve indoor climate as well as energy efficiency for everyone,” Šarapnickis remarked. “We look forward to seeing how attendees apply their new knowledge to advance the industry and create better indoor climates.”
