Adjustable Cable Drops are hung from the building structure and connect to H-rail or cable suspension systems.

Cable suspension is one of the most common methods of suspending FabricAir ducts. The cable is a PVC coated stainless steel cable, making it an excellent choice for corrosive environments. Cable suspension is also used for vertical drops from the structure to suspend both rail and cable suspension systems. The two standard methods involve stretching a horizontal cable to hang the duct.
The first method, Type 1, uses a single cable that runs along the top of the duct at the 12 o'clock position.
The second method, Type 2, uses two cables, one along each side of the duct at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. The duct will have clips to hang the duct on the cable at the appropriate positions for either type of suspension.
