Type 3 T-rail suspension is convenient frequent laundry, as it is quick and easy to remove and replace the ducts.

T-rail is found in four of the standard suspension methods offered by FabricAir (Types 3 + 4 and types 11 + 12). T-rail is produced in 2 meter sections using an extrusion process and then anodized, making it an excellent choice for corrosive environments. T-rail is attached directly to any type of ceiling, rather than being free-hanging. T-rail is primarily used in a two rail configuration to suspend D-shaped and semi-oval ducts, although it can also be used to mount a round ducts. The duct will have sliders, or a bulb edge, to slide the channel in the T-rail at the appropriate locations for both single and double T-rail configurations.
