Another year has come and gone. It was a highly unusual year due to the pandemic, but we didn’t let it slow us down. We are committed to delivering the best air dispersion solutions on the market and providing the best customer service, and it is our people who make all the difference. This is why we are very proud to present the new faces that joined us in the past year.
The FabricAir family is growing and we enjoy welcoming new colleagues across the globe. We build friendships and team spirit across borders and each individual is an important piece of the puzzle.
With no further ado we proudly introduce the new faces of 2020: Locusta, Rūta, Audronė, Richard Dmitrij, Shanker, Kristina, Lewis, Brendan, Lukas and Vydmintas, as well as welcome back Serud Ahmad as Country Manager in Germany and Austria.
THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Dmitrij Voronov, Software Developer, Lithuania
Dmitrij joined the team in Vilnius in January 2020. He is 25 years old and a full stack software developer, who studied Software Engineering at the Vilnius University. The first years of his career he spent with CGI Lithuania – a local branch of a world-renowned IT consultancy.
Lukas Gužauskas, Software Developer, Lithuania
Commencing June 1, Lukas joined the software development team. He is a 24-year-old junior software developer, who graduated from Kaunas University of Technology last year with a bachelor’s degree in “Software Development Systems”. Lukas is deaf and naturally really proud to prove to the world that a deaf person can master software developer skills and we are equally proud that he chose FabricAir as his employer.
Vydmintas Brokevičius, Software Developer, Lithuania
Vydmintas also started on June 1. He is 40 years old and his educational background includes both a bachelor’s degree in Informatics and a master’s degree in Distance Learning Information Systems from Kaunas University of Technology. During his career, Vydmintas has worked as an IT Engineer with various companies, as well as taught at the local college. Two years ago, he turned his career path to software development, and it is in this capacity he joins us.
THE R&D DEPARTMENT
Shanker Ganesh Krishnamoorthy, Industrial Designer, Lithuania
Shanker joined the R&D Department in mid-February. He is 32 years old and comes from India. At FabricAir he is tasked with pretty much everything pertaining to product design, working on and around product design, from ideas and sketches to actual prototypes and design evaluations.
Audronė Ragaišienė, Materials Engineer, Lithuania
Audronė is an expert in textile products and quality assurance, and she had been a strong asset in our R&D team since November. She has a PhD in Technological Sciences and Materials Engineering from Kaunas Technical university and more than 20 years of experience as a lecturer and Assoc. Professor of Textile Engineering at KTU.
THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT
Rūta Kairienė, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Rūta just joined FabricAir to head up the global MarCom team. She is tasked with the global responsibility for our group marketing strategies and activities and will coach and lead our in-house marketing team. She is 43 years old and has an MBA from Vilnius University. She spent all her career in Marketing and Business Development and she will be central to our digital transformation.
Rūta comes to us from StrongPoint ASA, where she was VP Marketing during the merger of marketing strategies, activities and culture in the six companies that now forms StrongPoint ASA. She managed a team of eight marketing professionals placed in remote office locations, which is similar to what she will be doing at FabricAir.
THE SALES DEPARTMENT
Lewis Brooks, Inside Sales Engineer, USA
In March 2020, Lewis became part of the US inside sales team. He is 23 years old and was born and raised in Jefferson, Georgia. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a bachelor's degree in Business Economics.
Brendan Ward, Applications Engineer, USA
Brendan also joined the US inside sales team in March. He graduated in 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial design and this is his first full time engineering job. He chose FabricAir to get the oppostunity to work with 2d and 3D modelling in a team-oriented culture with great colleagues and many learning opportunities.
Richard Priebe, Sales Engineer, Germany
In September the German team was strengthened by Richard, who is charge of generating leads in the north and western part of Germany. Before joining us, he was the owner of an HVAC materials and equipment store, and he has been working for Germany’s largest HVAC wholesaler, which is how he became familiar with our technology.
Locusta (Qin Lu) Sales Manager of South West Region, China
Commencing December 7, we welcome Locusta (Qin Lu) to the Chinese sales team. He has been working in the HVAC industry for more than 12 years and will be responsible for sales and business development of the South-Western region in China
Kristina Kubilienė, Production Coordinator, Lithuania
Kristina came to us in March 2020. She is the production manager’s right hand, responsible for the planning of cutting works and sewing works, dividing orders for sewing departments. Kristina has a vast experience in production, mainly as a pattern cutter, shift operator or garment cutter, and she is a graduate from Kaunas Technical University.
